We
are offering 3-day semi-guided Merriam turkey hunts in April and May. You
are hunting on roughly 3,000 acres of mostly private land. We only take
one group at a time (2 to 4 hunters) so you have plenty of space, and the
birds are less likely to become call-shy.
Location
Our
ranch is situated near Devils Tower National Monument on the edge of the
Black Hills in Northeastern Wyoming at about 4,300 ft altitude. Timbered
canyons, open meadows, and wide creek bottoms are the ideal turkey habitat.
We have hundreds of pure Merriams, and our success rate is close to 100%.
But
remember: The rough terrain, the unpredictable Wyoming spring weather,
and last but not least the smart birds can be a challenge. |
